A geospatial augmented reality mobile app
that captures moments and anchors them in a
geolocation for others to view.
Create a minimum viable product that allows people to leave AR objects
and interact with them in the real world.
ROLES: PRODUCT MANAGER / UX RESEARCH + DESIGN
In 11 weeks, we ideated and developed a working prototype - a mobile app where users can take photos, customize them with 3D objects so as to create a “scene”, and then anchor these “scenes” to a geolocation, available for other users to view, “like” and interact with. The team consisted of a 3D artist, two developers, and a project manager and was formed for an industry project at the Centre for Digital Media industry project with Truly Social Games as the client.

The client, Truly Social Games, loved the project so much that they are moving on with the project and are now developing it as part of Geogram, a social media app with augmented reality (AR) and geospacial elements.
